GOOGLE CALENDAR SERVICE CHANGE NOTIFICATION

"
FORBIDDEN" ERROR WHEN SYNCING

On November 17th, 2014 google stopped supporting the google calendar service used by gSyncit v1, v2 and v3. This was an unexpected announcement and beyond our control. All other sync functionality will work within these releases with the exception of the calendar sync with google.

gSyncit v4 uses Google’s new API platform in addition to many other major improvements and is not affected by the announcement by Google. Click here to learn more about gSyncit v4

gSyncit v4 includes a major rewrite of the google sync workflows representing a significant software re-architecture requiring many months of development and testing and now over two years of updates/enhancements. v4 is not a trivial set of minor software updates and represents a major revision to the software.

Each major software release is licensed as-is without any expressed warranty of functionality or explicitly statement of lifetime support and maintenance. While we make reasonable efforts to support and maintain each major releases we cannot guarantee that third party services (e.g. google) will not make major changes that will adversely affect a specific major release of the software.
